      to stay in the field and on the crop.  I would imagine he was
      applying fungicide to corn.  And, No, you are not immune from
      toenail fungus.</p>
    <p>Cecil Monson was delivering a power takeoff gearbox for a Willys
      to me from Mike Sloane when we met at LeSueur.  I think Cecil had
      a brother that farmed near Austin, MN and he put together my stuff
      and a family gathering alone with attending the swap meet.  He was
      tickled that he found some part he had been missing for one of his
      tractors at the meet.</p>

      <div>Ron, your story on your recovery reminded me:  Coming back
        from Portland this year, I left heading due east.  As folks who
        leave Portland in that direction will tell you,  there are a lot
        of very rural, two lane section roads - with  crops on both
        sides for many many miles -  that you have to travel to get to
        major highways in Ohio. I was cruising along, thought I heard a
        plane, and the next thing I know an aerial sprayer flew right in
        front of me, not even 50 feet above the road.   It was pretty
        impressive.   He dosed me pretty good.  I wonder what pests I am
        now immune from :-)    I could smell whatever he was spraying.</div>

              One of the trips with Cecil was to Hillsborough NJ . We
              meet Wayne Smith and his family, great visit fantastic
              lunch and Waynes wife  made chocolate chip cookies for
              desert. We brought home a JD L and made a lasting
              friendship!

                      Farmall cub. “Elmo” and was looking for
                      information.  I found Cecil and Lucille thru the
                      list and they both became great friends. Cecil
                      lived about 6 miles away and he and I had some
                      great trips. Seemed Cecil had a knack for getting
                      a great deal from a seller and having them become
                      a friend. I put together with lots of help from
                      the list the original Cub FAQ.  I had lots if help
                      from George Willer, Jim Becker, Cecil and a score
                      of others. I dont post too much any but I do read
                      everything. I’ve meet a bunch of people thru the
                      list I consider friends, Steve Offiler and Jim
                      Thompson to name two. I also had the privilege of
                      helping move the ATIS box around</div>

                                of misc.rural Usenet group.   Just too
                                many homesteaders and chicken folks
                                there on misc.rural to get anything good
                                about antique tractors.   A gopher
                                server followed in early 1994 with the
                                web site in late 1994.</div>

                                engine list at Indiana University.   It
                                folded into ATIS a few years later.  
                                 Both lists got kicked off the Forsyth
                                county government servers in 1997 and

                                obviously but about 125 people signed up
                                within the first several weeks so there
                                is probably 126 people who rightfully

                                Offlier, John Thompson, Richard walker,

                                  least 150-200 folks read our posts
