<p>I've been around since sometime in the 90s/Forsyth County also.
Changed ISPs, well, actually, my local phone coop has always been
my ISP, but they've changed names as technology (and downstream
providers) have changed.</p>
<p>I have always enjoyed the light conversation from many very
intelligent folks, most of which have more information than I, so
I normally just sit back and 'listen'. Since I am in ND, which
tends to be chilly this time of year, I am personally glad that
Ralph takes all the grief for cold weather. Thanks, Ralph! :-)<br>

<p>I recall the hammer handle thread, but not the actual educational
post. How about that rerun, Farmer?</p>

Ok, I'll bite--Farmer, what are these guys talking about regarding
changing hammer handles? Never thought it was that
complicated--maybe I'm just lucky? I've got to replace the handle
in my favorite big hammer, it finally broke after 30+ years. Going
to have to scour the net to find one--ain't no hardware stores of
that type around. This isn't a claw or ball pein, its about 2+lbs
and one end shaped as a wedge. Done a whole lot of fixing farm
equipment with this one.<br>

too late to LeSueur MN 2004 swap meet to get in the photo, but
I did get to meet Cecil Monson in person and visit with him.

recall was one year hammer handles came up and I did a
post with a step by step on how to replace them. Later
that year I had backed our travel trailer back into that
one spot Diana always wanted us to use at Portland. As I
finished up another trailer backed in beside us and before
doing anything else Cecil Monson jumped out of the truck
and hurried over to me carrying a hammer. He was truly
excited that he had been able to replace that handle
successfully, saying that he had tried before but could
never get it right. Funny the things you remember...</div>
