When they ran Natural Gas down our road a crew first went down all
the roads and painted the poison ivy patches pink and flagged them.
I'm not sure why they just didn't just turn the pink sprayer on, and
drive up and down both sides of the road. The areas they didn't have
to paint were laughable.

If you're suggesting my problem is lack of
recognition, false. I certainly don't need help in that
regard. I grew up around this stuff, and 57 years later I've
seen it tens of thousands of times. That's the problem. It's
everywhere. I would need to run back to the house every
couple hours to scrub in order to have any success with the
pre-emptive method you seem to be promoting. I tend to get
2-3 rashes a year, despite hundreds or maybe thousands of
"potential" exposures. So there you go. I can only
differentiate a potential exposure from a real one when the
rash shows up.
