To go a bit further, the CA tractor had that hand clutch that was simply a clutch in the right rear axle. It was a dry clutch and you had to hold it in the out position. The WD as well as the WD-45 hand clutch ran in oil and was then over center clutch simply meaning it would stay in either position without being held. Those WD, WD-45, tractors had that hand clutch running in the hydraulic fluid. It was imperative you not run the fluid low. The reservoir was not that big, a large reason for the small diameter rams.

Power wise, the C will pull it. The first year we had the Rotobaler we pulled it with a 9N Ford. As Spencer alluded to, having to stop and shift to neutral to tie the bail is a big time PITB. It did not take us along to go to a WD. You will really want live power for that baler, however, it could be used with the C.

Not much tractor related stuff in the last few days.
My 1936 John Deere AO qualifies as an antique.
It does have any software needing to be upgraded.
No help line available or needed.
And you don't need to be an engineer to figure how it works.
