When the low hanging storm clouds come over, they receive energy
from the heat still left in the area they are over. When the air
is mixed, instead of layered as it does with the humidity, it
becomes homogenized and more readily available for the storm, or
if it is cooler, it can divert the storm..... I know it seems
like it is only a small amount, but when you have 10 sections of
wind farms with 12 or more windmills to a section, it has to make
some difference. I have discussed this with several
meteorologists at the severe storm center, but there is no money
to study it. In my earlier career, I worked with meteorologists,
water engineers, and nearly anyone connected with climate and
water....
Subject: Re: [AT] OT Weird Weather

This record setting weather gives me plenty of time to think
about why. Let me state that I am not a believer in Man-made
global warming. The earth has gone through many cycles prior to
man's existence. Now let's not start a political discussion
here that is not my intent. Just thinking.

My farms are 50 miles apart as the crow flies. Both sit SE
of gigantic wind farms. our storms used to come from the NW,
but now when they get near the wind farms, they turn and go
straight south... If you really look at wind generators,
those fans are 300 ft diameter and sit about 300 ft above
ground to the center. That means that the fan stirs up 450 ft
of air so that when a low lying storm or tornado flows near,
the heat from the ground is now mixed for450 ft.. Just a
thought... The trend is to go to more wind generation and
less fossil fuels... Has anyone done any study on the effect
of wind farms.. ??

Another thought is that in the last 100 or so years every
large nation has tried to weaponize weather. The jet stream
is now flowing in a pattern that has been experienced before,
but not for the length of time. Ralph has said that Canada is
drier that ever, while we are so wet nothing can get planted.
The pressure systems over Canada and Greenland are causing the
jet stream patterns.

I won't go any further with my personal thoughts on this as I
don't want to start a political flaming war...
