<p>Its probably more aggravating than poor documentation. You REALLY
have to slow down and dig deep in the parts books. Even the
replacement head bolts matter as to which block you have.<br>

<p class="MsoNormal">I don’t think you are running into an
uncommon problem. Being a replacement engine the
documentation may be very poor. John Deere is usually pretty
good at documenting things from the factory but after that is
gets a bit dicey. Changes made at the dealer may not be
documented at all. Good luck. A 4020 is well worth
