I used Google Earth to estimate fence lines, earthwork, and locate
dams and creeks. A couple of nights ago we were having some
internet problems and I tried to launch Google Earth 3 times but it
would just give me the "circle" and then nothing. I finally
downloaded the Google earth Pro that only works with Google Chrome
and found that I cannot leave a pin to locate a project, no
measuring capabilities and no timeline for looking at the changes
over time of the land or a building. As an engineer, this has
proved invaluable. I cannot get anything to work as Google
suggests, and reading the forums it appears that Google has just
screwed us dedicated Windows users just to appease the Mac users, or
just to push their Chrome agenda. I have used Firefox for years
and I am not good enough with computers now to solve the problems.
I use Windows 7 as I remember.
I know there are a lot of you guys that know how to make this work
or have searched this out...
