Try to find a local guy that will work on them and check the rims....most local shops will not steer you bad..and if the owner has dirt and grease on him you're good because he doesn't want to work on your tire more than needed.

We have a 1948 Ford 8N tractor that we bought new. The rear tires are still original but the sidewalls are now tearing.
Can anyone suggest a good brand I should buy and who has reasonable prices? Thank you.

There are a few vendors that show up at the larger antique tractor and engine shows. They typically have ?good? prices and you save shipping. Not sure where you are but the upcoming Portland show usually has 2/3 vendors
