[AT] AT Digest, Vol 74, Issue 3

I’ve purchased eight tractors over the years: Two Super Ms, two 3020s, an M, a Case VAH, a JD 620, and a Ford 3600. Still have the second Super M, the second 3020, and the Ford. All the others went to new owners for significantly less money than I had in them, so I’m accustomed to looking at my tractor purchases as a moderately expensive source of entertainment and education. I think I did okay on the latest 3020, but I suppose I’ll find out for sure if I ever decide to sell it. :)

Eddie, I feel your pain. But, none of us wants to pay more than we have to for our toys. It’s a catch “22”. I almost always end up selling for less than I have in a tractor or an engine. Hence, I don’t sell many pieces. I have a 4 Mule Team Associated, circa 1917, that I’ve had up for sale for 20 yrs. I want a $1000.00 for it and won’t take any less. So, I keep dragging it around. Keep the smoke coming. Arthur Southwell, Arcadia, FL USA

I have been thinning my heard of tractors...but I can't get people to pay decent respectable prices for anything...

I have practically given away several just to get them to better places.

I spent most of the winter and,$2500 getting a few running..

I don't want to get rid of everything but

My sheds are full
