[AT] Not so simple point change

Last time I was at cabin in Oklahoma my tractor would not start. Thought it was not getting spark, so I ordered a electronic ignition conversion joint. Another quick trip here, so I thought I would take a few hours and install this simple conversion.
I found 2 things in trying to do this. First rotor had a bent end almost like it had hit something - see picture. Distributor shaft does not seem to have excessive play side to side.
Second, when trying to get the point mounting screw out, I noticed it was a bit tore up BEFORE I tried to remove it. Trying to remove it made it worse - see 2nd picture.
Need to order more parts so will not get fixed this trip. Other issue is that to get screw out it appears that I either need to remove distributer and then have to deal with timing adjustment, or remove oil filter housing. There is not enough room between filter housing and distributer to get a normal screwdriver squarely on that screw, which is 1 reason it is so tore up. I might have a screwdriver that would work in the toolbox in my Texas toy shed, but not enough tools in the Oklahoma cabin. Screwdriver bit on 1/4” socket will reach the screw, but cannot get enough force into it to do anything other than tear up the screw more.
And to other thing to complicate life is there is a loader mounted on the tractor (IH 2504) which is right in the way of getting to the distributor.
