[AT] fuel left in gas hose

  I asked the driver of the truck that delivers my farm gas, diesel, and heating oil how much fuel is in the hose and he said 28 gallon is in the hose. He said it is quite a job dragging the hose to the furnace oil tanks in the winter but not so bad in summer when the diesel tank is right next to the truck. The amount of fuel in the hose is also why they have two pumps and hose on the truck, one for gas and one for diesel. The hoses are about 2 inch dia. and around 100 feet long if my memory is right.       Greg Hass
