[AT] fixing a spark plug

If you have good spark going to ground it's probably bad plug. If you
can't see good spark going to ground it's probably bad test and is
probably bad plug. If you grabbed old plug out of toolbox and got no
spark then its probably bad plug. Throw the old plugs in toolbox out.
They will never get better. Dad always had an old set of plugs for the
Allis C in the toolbox buried in the dirt at the bottom. Tractor would
start missing and would try all the plugs in the toolbox before sending
me to shop to get a new one (1). Usually fixed the problem and back to
cultivating corn I went. Dad wasn't cheap just wanted to get his
money's worth. After all plugs were probably like 50 cents apiece.
