Dean,
There is another one of these big gas pumping engines at the Rough & Tumble Engineers museum in Kinzers, PA. Last week was the 74th annual Threshermen's Reunion at R&T and they run the engine a couple of times each day. There's usually an "army" of folks standing around watching it start and run. It was quite a project just getting the building ready for the engine after they acquired it. I can remember each year observing the progress on the excavating, forming and pouring of the concrete foundation to hold the engine and then the time it took to reassemble the unit. It's impressive to watch the video, but even more impressive to be standing next to one of them while they are running.
