Vinegar is an acid. Common eating vinegar is about 5%. They also sell 15% -
20% for use in cleaning. However, these are very caustic and can burn your
skin easily. They’re also corrosive, so you may want be careful if you’re
going to use them in a metal tank, you could cause leaks in areas that are
already rusted.
