We had a few glass ones left in our EMS kits for use with injectable
items, they were sterilized, then sealed in a pack with a needle set.
Don't miss them at all...

My insulin pens use a glass capsule in them, I'd like to switch to a
vial type but at the moment the insurance doesn't like that.

The pens are handy but more money for the ease of use. However the
insurance doesn't seem to want to save money ??

Last time I saw glass used was back when they did the old smallpox
vaccine. All my later vaccines were done using a injector gun.
