[AT] OT-Windows 10

I'm in the same situation as you are.  I still use Windows 7 and intend to
continue using it as long as possible.  I have set up a second computer with
Windows 10 Pro that I will use to install TurboTax software and do my taxes.

That being said, my brother has an IT company and I often help him.  I do
have a lot of experience with Windows 10.  If you look at Microsoft's
minimum system requirements for Windows 10, don't believe them.  Although
Windows 10 will be able to install on some of these machines it will work so
poorly that it is practically unusable.  In order to give you any advice I
need to know the following.

Laptop or Desktop computer?
DVD RW drive?
Model of CPU processor and speed
Amount of memory
32 bit or 64 bit
Make and model number of computer

I have just been trying Windows 20H2 loads on older computers during this
time of extremely cold weather in South Texas where I live.  I will resume
doing this today.  It seems that some computers will usably run (but not as
fast as Windows 7) the current 20H2 version that would not run earlier
versions.

If you can give me this information, I will try to give you some advice.

I haven't gotten to use my 1956 Ferguson 40 for about over a year and a half
since I've been having some heart issues and this COVID situation.

Has anyone here been able to download windows 10, and have it act like
windows 7? I love my windows 7, but it its not compatible  with the
current tax preparation software Turbo-tax.
