[AT] tractor electrical question--I think its fixed!!!

Spencer, that is an exact description of my '58 JD 440IC crawler (it's
yellow, not green, but close enough for this list!)  It sits a while, I
decide to start it, I clean the points using coarse paper and contact
cleaner (because my old points file is long-gone), it still won't start, I
clean AGAIN, and away it goes.

And tip of the hat to farmer for the McMaster-Carr link.  I do a ton of
business with McMaster-Carr at work, usually a couple times a week.  Never
cheap, always premium quality (although they rarely provide brand-names,
rest assured it will be good stuff), arrives overnight about 95% of the
time, and they are very clear about the other 5%.  It doesn't seem to
matter how oddball your needs might be, they always seem to have it.
