There is a beaver problem in a couple places here now. They have built a 
dam causing one of the local lakes to come up to where it's lapping at 
the side of a state highway, right on the pavement. Then just a short 
ways down the creek out of it there is another dam creating a similar 
problem there. Haven't seen the state doing anything about it though.. 
Which is typical of NY.
