There are a lot of useful groups on Facebook. There is at least one pretty good one just for Farmall Cubs. Good way to appraise value and demand for the items you have listed.

    Hi Guys and Guyettes…

I have a 1948 Farmall Cub, given to me by my father in law more than 20 years ago. It came with quite an assortment of attachments -

    1 furrow plough

    grader blade

cultivators (both mid-mounted set and rear mounted set)

belly mounted mower - I think a Woods perhaps?

    A Sears 40” Disc Harrow

The grader blade is very handy, and is on my tractor most of the time

I’ve used the cultivators, mid mounted set a few times working on my yard

I’ve never used the plough, nor the disc set, nor the belly mounted mower which is in pieces, but everything seems to be there for it, including a brand new drive pulley with the over-run clutch/bearing in it to let the spindle keep spinning after you’d pushed the clutch in.

So I’m thinking to clear up some space and get rid of the plough and the Woods? mower, and the disc set if anyone is interested in that. They’ve sat outside for as long as I’m aware - certainly all the time I’ve had them, and I’m fairly sure the time my father in law had them too. They’ve been sitting up off the ground on railroad ties while I’ve had them, and my father in law had them sitting on a concrete pad.

They seem to be complete and in reasonably condition still. The mower spindle, bearing housing and drive pulley have been inside all the time I’ve had them, and I think my father in law kept them inside his barn too.

I’m in West Michigan, just south of Grand Rapids.

Is there any interest in these items? Apart from the mower spindle, and in particular the pulley, the price is likely to be pretty good on the rest of it - I’m open to offers for all of it, but the pulley, spindle, and bearing housing are probably actually worth something - the pulley is listed on line for $824!!!!!!

if I’ve found the right thing - the part number written on the pulley matches at least.

I’ve attached a few “not great” pictures of this stuff.

I do have the original owner’s book for the plough (and the tractor, the grader blade, a mid mounted sickle bar mower and 2 different cultivators too).
