I agree Brad, Son in Law installed a new 96% efficient furnace with the
DC fan motor option. Cut the heck out of our gas and power bills. The
pipe for the exhaust is barely warm, meaning most of the heat is staying
in the house. Also said their was some very thin spots in the heat
exchanger, would have leaked soon.

But if you choose not to upgrade the FAU, then please buy and keep up a CO detector.
