DHL Shipping answered my need to ship a right hand (~ 21" dia.) disc plow for an Allis G from north GA to Nebraska approximately ten years ago. The disc plus scrapper plus gage/wheel weight are not an obstacle but the ~3" dia. x ~ 9' long metal pipe frame certainly is a potential concern. 
I mention this as another method of shipping large parts.
