I knew a luxemburger-american who owned a cream and gray TO-30 lettered Ferguson. He had no idea of the tractors uniqueness or history.

So Jack, does your wife ever sing the "Hit The Road, Jack" song to you?

[ Cecil Bearden] If I remember correctly an F40 was a Cream color hood and fenders with the rest being grey.  I have seen 3 in my short 65 years, and 2 were the cream color and the other was red & grey.

[Jack] I remember a new F40 with “Massey Harris Ferguson” lettered on the side which showed up at a neighbor’s when I was around 10. The guy who inherited and sold it had no idea how unique it was. Did any records exist as to how that tractor was painted and lettered?

What is noteworthy about the Shibaura made Fords is that Fiat did not undo the deal immediately.

At Ferguson events the 9Ns are considered Fergusons also.
