[AT] 430V and First cutting of hay...

What do you dislike about the NH rake? We got a Ferguson 3 point rake when
I was about 11 (about 1953) and I loved raking with it. It was also trouble
free, I think I patched a tire on it once.
The NH #57 looks about like a copy of the Ferguson.
I did much of the mowing and about all of the raking. My father usually ran
the chopper (we did dry chopped hay) and I did the wagon running and the
unloading, all blower set-ups etc.
When I was around 13 my father was laid up all summer with injuries to both
legs and I filled 3 barns to the rafters working alone from about 30 acres.
That and cultivating about 100 acres of corn and 20 acres of soybeans,
combining 20 acres of wheat and chopping straw for bedding pretty much used
up my whole summer that year...
