[AT] putt putt miss miss was IH Fast Hitch

I don't know the exact  differences at all but I used them for a zillion
hours as I was growing up. The upright 2 cylinder engines on the MC
crawler, the 40 crawler and the LUC power unit (was on a new 12-A combine,
horrible engine. the ones on the crawlers were fine) all sounded pretty
much alike but nothing like the horizontal engines. I'm not very familiar
with the L or LA tractors. I don't know about any other applications of the
upright engines. I should probably go read up on them. I almost bought an
LUC at an auction about 2 years ago. I disliked the one on that combine but
today I believe I could cure it.
Deere could have made a billion dollar improvement in the LUC on that
combine by putting an electric start on it...It's been a lot of years but I
don't think a starter was ever an option on that engine.
