[AT] IH Fast Hitch

Dean:

The 4010 & 4020 sense off of the lower links.   There is a bar
connecting the lower links that connects through the rer end housing and
in the middle it has a large C shaped piece that connects to the draft
control valve above the ring gear.  The lower bat that connects the lift
arms has some special bushings that go through the rar end housing and
also have some flexible seals that allow movement forward and back, to
sense the amount of draft.  This I know as I had our 4010 torn
completely down and could not replace the ring gear as I had to remove
that c shaped piece.  We had to take the housing to the dealership to
have them remove the ring gear to replace the bearings or whatever we
were changing.

Since large tractors sense draft off the lower three point links, a Fast Hitch makes a lot of sense in hindsight. It would accomplish what a three point with "quick coupler" does with no add-ons.
