Cats win, followed by automobiles and tractors 🙂. Turbine kill numbers are very low.

Enjoy, Joe

I once read that housecats annually kill some number of birds measured in the Billions. If the wind farms are killing even more than cats (and assuming the cat number is anywhere near correct) we're going to see a pretty serious ecological shift as the bird populations diminish.

Both sit SE of gigantic wind farms. our storms used to come from the NW, but now when they get near the wind farms, they turn and go straight south... If you really look at wind generators, those fans are 300 ft diameter and sit about 300 ft above ground to the center. That means that the fan stirs up 450 ft of air so that when a low lying storm or tornado flows near, the heat from the ground is now mixed for450 ft.. Just a thought... The trend is to go to more wind generation and less fossil fuels... Has anyone done any study on the effect of wind farms.. ??

The jet stream is now flowing in a pattern that has been experienced before, but not for the length of time. Ralph has said that Canada is drier that ever, while we are so wet nothing can get planted. The pressure systems over Canada and Greenland are causing the jet stream patterns.
