Someone on this thread had wondered aloud about a list member who was a Woods dealer. I’ve been racking my brains ever since that post since he and I stayed in touch off-list quite a bit at the time and he and his daughter actually visited me once and he gave me a hand for a few hours with an 8N engine I was rebuilding.  I finally remembered:   Paul Bazetta.  His website was tractorbuddies.com.

 He gave us all some decent discounts and his prices were competitive to begin with but it never caught on.  I think his focus was too narrow. If he could’ve pulled off something like everythingattachments.com he would’ve had a winner and way ahead of everyone else.  But he was only an online Woods dealer.  To be fair to him, I think a lot of the manufacturers were very unsure how to handle dealership relationships and territories in the online world and  were very hesitant at first.
