Any type of memory card can only store so much. It sounds like your camera doesn’t auto delete after a prescribed time and then keep recording (ie: it records for two days and on the third day it overwrites the first day, so you always have the last two days recorded).

You can still go to court and fight any ticket you may have gotten, this would help if you have to pay a deductible on your insurance because you were not totally in the clear based on the police report. If she ran a stop sign, having your turn signal on wouldn't have kept her from doing so, and wouldn’t have made her stop in time. Make a good sketch of the accident scene to explain to the judge what happened.

Anyone of you guys use a dash cam?  I bought one for my with after using
one in my truck for a while. It worked great, or at least I thought it
did, until some one decided to run a stop sign, and plowed into my read
passenger side last night. I was in the right lane of a 4 lane road with
a turn lane. As I said, I was in the right lane, and this girl rolls
through a stop sign and plows into my rear quarter. It had to be towed
home. Cop can came and said we were both 50% at fault, because I failed
to signal.  That's not true. Then I told the cop that I had a dash came,
and we tried to make it work, but it didn't. When I got home, plugged
the card in and the last recording it shows is from June of 2018 :/. It
would have totally exonerated me, it's failure screwed me.

Does anyone have a brand they like and has proven itself? Mine was a
Viofo 119, and I certainly wouldn't trust that one again. The other
question would be do any come that will take a regular SD card and not a
mini? TIA
