[AT] Farmall Cub Hydraulic Leak

Greetings from Caledonia, Michigan
I was using my Farmall Cub (Serial 82115) yesterday and noticed a leak from the hydraulics - it’s right up by the pump where the 2 pipes connect to the pump.
A close look seems to indicate that the top (high pressure side?) pipe seems to be cracked just behind the block that holds the two pipes to the pump.
Is this a common occurrence?
Does anyone know how the pipes are held into that block - brazed, or welded or ??
Will a quick repair like trying to braze over the crack work or will it need something more substantial like replacing at least a few inches of the pipe and putting a joint somewhere behind it?
How do the pipes disconnect from the hydraulic lift unit? I removed the 3 bolts that hold it on, but it didn’t seem to want to move at all from there - just glued on with gasket goop, or is there something else I’m missing?
Thanks for any insights
Roger
