[AT] Cold snap over

I know how it is wanting to get in the shop and can't. Dad's had health
issues lately so I have been spending a lot of time helping him out. By
then it is so late in the day I don't bother to try to warm the shop up.
It actually got so cold with this recent cold spell, stuff started
freezing inside the shop. Building is 35 years old and this is the first
time I can remember it happening.

We had black ice on the roads Tues morning, but by 1:30 it was so bright
and sunny we opened the bay door at work and it didn't even begin to get
chilly. Matter of fact it was such a nice day I said the heck with it
and told everyone to go enjoy the weather--1 hour of missed overtime
isn't going to make or break us.

I would have opened the doors and warm the place up, but the humidity moved in with the warmth and the dew point had been higher than the shop temperature. All I would have done is gotten condensation on all the metal(430V is 42 degrees and the dew point is 46). I have made that mistake before only to find everything covered in water. Tools in the tool box; you name it. It's crazy. We had fog yesterday evening in the lower parts of the farm.

I've decided to take Cecil's advice and cut a slot in the outer tubes(and then welding back). I've tried twisting and pulling and they just simply are not going to come apart. They've rusted too bad. A part of me wants to completely restore this Haywagon. I think I need someone to talk me out of it. :-)
