[AT] MM UTS

Hi all.
One of our club members donated a 1940 MM UTS.  He had started rebuilding
the engine, it had two bad pistons and he got a couple of good used ones
to replace them,  The original pistons had bolts to locate the wrist pin,
the replacements had floating pins and snap rings to keep them in place. 
Question is can I use the original rods with the new floating pin
pistons.  Also the small end of the rod will have to be narrowed up to
fit inside the new pistons, is this ok?
