Don't know about oil, but is there a live hydraulic pump that could be the problem? I have had a stuck engine caused by a hydraulic valve stuck and the cylinder it controls at the end of it's stroke, engine won't budge.

Sorry to reply to my own post, but I forgot to ask:  what is the oil in the refrigerant? I'd like to know what that is. I think that would make a very good penetrant. That stuff is _slick_.
