[AT] 430V mysteries

There was a substitution in the parts catalog for that pin, who knows which one is drawn and which one Spencer has.  The first picture he sent I thought the S-hook was the triangular loop shown in the parts catalog and the head was formed from hammering on it.  Anyway I think the idea is correct, the top link pin and lynch pin are chained to the top link so they don't get lost and it doubles as a method of holding the link up when not in use.
