Cecil,

I was one of those who bought a couple of those trailer lighting kits at Dave's suggestions. I so admired his reasoning for owning multiple sets I bought two with the same objective. But.... they sat unused for several months before I got to hooking them up. Then they didn't work right. Fortunately an ATIS list member pointed me in the direction of the problem. They don't work properly if I have my regular 7 pin wiring hooked up to the trailer at the same time as trying to use the 4 pin HF units. I too admired Dave's concern about others at shows. So if ever ever get a chance to help someone at a show Dave will be smiling down on us.

I remember Dave as one who knew whereof he spoke and did not suffer fools easily. During one of the discussions on trailer lighting, Dave said he bought several of those magnetic trailer kits at Harbor Freight when on sale so he could help some of the folks that had tail ight problems at the shows.. I thought then that he was a really good fellow and I always hoped to someday meet him.

He was a fellow I was proud to call a friend.

Cecil in OKla.
