[AT] Battery corrosion

Hi all, was servicing the tractor today, and noticed I have a build up 
of white "fuzzy" corrosion on the battery hold down and on the negative 
terminal, more on the hold down than the terminal.  Last fall I cleaned 
both posts and clamps and coated them with a purple protectant from 
Permatex, but it's back. Any tips on keeping my battery and hold down 
corrosion free. Thanks in advance.
