[AT] Old Tractor Drive, Champaign County Ohio?

Hi Gene and all,
I take my 88 oliver on one tractor ride each year. Its organized by a
group from Carsten's 1880 farmstead. It is a memorial deal for one of
the past board members.
I thought it would be interesting to share what I am working on also.
For many years now, antique tractors have been a big hobby for me.
Although I can't see anything, I am very lucky that 1. I have a very
supportive family, and 2. My dad took time to build me one of the
nicest buddy seats in the country for my oliver so I can go on the
rides and someone can just ride with me and tell me which way to go.
Anyway, for many years I have been going to the eye clinic in Iowa
City once a year to have my eyes looked at. One of the doctors that I
see there is heavily involved with the eye research going on there. So
now each time I go, I always say, "How many more years doc? How many
more years until I can achieve my goal?"
My goal is to someday get sight, and, while my family is around at
one of our family gatherings, drive away on my Oliver, fully sighted.
Well, you all know how the medical field works when it comes to
research. It takes time, efort, patience, and a whole lot of money. So
one day I was thinking, "ya know, why not have a tractor drive to
raise money for eye research?"
So I talked to the president of Carsten's farm about my idea and
asked if he'd like to help me get it off the ground. To make a long
story short, I am hoping we can get it going for 2018, and if not,
2019.
I would love to have anyone from the list on the ride as well, if you
can make it.
 Take Care,
 Tyler Juranek
