Best laptop I've ever owned is this ASUS machine I am typing on now.
It's very well built and has never had any hardware issues at all. I think
it's about 7 years old now.

When I got a ransom virus last year, I replaced my old HP with a
Dell. One of my bigger mistakes. The Dell has more ram and a bigger
hard drive, and a faster operating system. However, it has some of the
worst quirks and "stalls"of any computer i have ever had. I am running
Win 7 and do nto intend to upgrade until it dies. I have a 4 yr old
laptop that came with windows 10 on it, and it has been used a total of
4 hours. I had to have help from Microsoft on it about a month after I
bought it., and was referred to one of their "contractors" and I still
get calls from some person with a very foreign accent wanting to get
access to my computer because it is messing up microsoft!!! I would
not doubt this is the one that sent me the ransom virus last year.
