Thanks for all the great compliments on the picture - I appreciate it!  Final total was 8-3/8".  Never got above freezing and supposed to be about 9 degrees tonight.

To answer to comments/questions:

This is a once every 3-4 year kind of snow.   Since we are so close to the Gulf of Mexico, when it does snow it can really snow.   We have had a 15" snow before.   But yes, it's not too frequent.

It's not a New England thing.  The bread shelves are empty here too (-;

I feel proud that our snow storm was  deeper than Mattias'  in Sweden. :-)

Ralph.  Great shot !  as much as I like technology, I have not been bitten by the drone  bug. But we did hire a professional photographer for some pictures. They had a drone. They took some great shots of our animals with the drone.   I remember him saying he had to give up maneuverability and performance, to get the camera quality he needed for his photography business.
