Cecil,

The Belarus tractors are made in Minsk, Belarus, not in the Ukraine. Ukraine is the country just South of Belarus.  I have been by that factory several times, but never had the opportunity to tour it. 

Sad to see they are not selling new ones here anymore. My guess is that like many former communist run companies, management does not like change, and did not invest in technology to meet emissions regulations. The result is they are no longer selling to the USA and other companies took over there market.
