Hopefully the change in our government will allow you to recover without
the Corp of Engineers and other ABC agencies getting in your way.

Grant, I'm shocked and saddened by your severe flooding devastation. Am
I correct these are fields west of your main ranch headquarters off
Shore Road? From past visits I'm roughly guessing that area is over
half a mile away from Pacheco Creek. So basically the creek cut a new
channel far from its original course right through you? Wow.

Worse (if that's possible) those are fields that have been in your
family for many years and that you've personally farmed starting way
back in the '70's. Not leased land.

Judy and I know recovery will be in the best of possible hands, thanks
to your vast common sense knowledge and hard work ethic. You're probably
already starting to think of what old equipment to buy cheap at auctions
to forge ahead with gully filling and rock removal. Our best wishes to
you and family.
