There are some large John Deere Collectors in the Glendale area and near Cottonwood. The John Deere Collector in Glendale(near the University of Phoenix Stadium) is Larry Rovey. He has a huge collection with several rare and experimental tractors on a ranch but had to move it a few years ago due to conflicts within the family. He moved it to his place in Rovey Estates in Glendale. I haven't been to the new location. The officers at the AEDGETA club will be able to put you in contact with Larry. Here is the link to the AEDGETA web site and contacts:

Jerome, AZ has some really interesting history. A most unusual place to place a town.

Here is a link to the website although not too much on the site. http://www.goldkingmineghosttown.com/ The old coot is not very Politically Correct. This was before Obama was elected we were there, and he had some thoughts on the matter. Actually a lot of thoughts and expressed them. He has a bunch of old equipment trucks, tractors, a Huber grader like mine, and a Dodge Travco like mine can be seen in the picture on the website. Cabins and buildings to reflect period times. It was interesting to me.

The old mine at Jerome is cool, all the old vehicles and stuff we were there in I believe 2008. The old coot who owned it was quite a character.

There are a few places around here that have rusty iron deposits.... if you happen to go up near Jerome it's got some interesting stuff. Check the weather first though. We had snow coming back from Flagstaff Sunday. (my son had an indoor track meet there)

I'm in Gilbert but I only have a few tractors so my pile of stuff isn't that impressive though you're welcome to drop in.
I haven't been to any of the shows in a while so I'm not much help on what's available.

Cheers,

Ken in AZ
