When is that Ashland show this summer? I'm next door in Wayne County and my boys might enjoy that.

Dad put his name on a list for a tractor in 1944. He was tired of following smelly horse ....! That was WW2 and restricted steel for anything non military. He ordered an MM UTU and a Farmall M. Both were almost 50 hp tractors. The MM arrived in Apple Creek, Ohio in 1945. Dad drove it home. That tractor would have given a Silver King a real race. The M arrived and became my uncles brand (when he came out of WW2.) I was told that dad put the tractor in the shed and reverse and when he came home it was outside. Mom didn t drive tractors!!! Guess I have been driving tractors since in diapers.[??] That is where I learned to trust that yellow tractor. It did not have ac type seat, but u straddled a POWER LIFT. Lots of brusised on shins and knees. I still have parts and pieces of 3 UTU MM s and its on my bucket list to have that tractor running. A local Yesteryears Tractor club will feature the MM line this summer At the Ashland County JVS in Ashland, Ohio.

I have several projects right now in the farm shop. MM G 950 and a MM G1350. Will get some pics if u don t mind a Full shop.
