Try any of the chain auto stores. Also, your city/county landfill should
take it, probably for free as long as you are dealing with homeowner
sized categories. I just hauled a bunch of old paint, from house paint
to tractor paint to ours--no charge. They also take old fire
extinguishers, pesticides, electronics, tires---most of it is free
disposal providing its not business sized quantities. In a nutshell, our
tax dollars are actually doing something beneficial.
