Ralph, yes, that was the sound of the pilot breathing--and straining against the high "G-forces" induced by sharp turns and sudden steep climbs. Some of the exertion is just the physical effort needed to control the airplane while the high-G turn is making his arms and legs feel really heavy. But I think most of it is the pilot deliberately flexing and straining the muscles in his legs and abdomen to push blood back up towards his brain, because the high-G maneuvers tend to push everything--including blood flow--down.
Pilots of high-performance aircraft wear pressurized flight suits and practice that deliberate muscle straining to maintain the flow of oxygenated blood to their brains. Various YouTube videos about "g-induced loss of consciousness" show how rapidly it can occur. Blacking out isn't physically harmful in itself, but it's not hard to imagine why it would be a bad thing to happen while flying a plane like that.
Meanwhile, I'm going to use my Super M today to spread some manure on the hayfield. I don't have a G-suit so I'll be careful not to turn too sharp, too fast.

That is some amazing video Mattias. I would not want to fly that close to the ground. Was that the sound of the pilot breathing? Sounds like it j was quite a workout for him.
