[AT] What to do now?

If that Predator 2 cylinder engine is anywhere near
as good as the little 6.5 HP single cyl. it's a hard deal to
beat. I have a 20 hp Kohler on my ZTR mower. If it goes out
I have a feeling a Predator will take it's place.

I have the 6.5 on my garden tiller. It lives outside with a tarp over
the engine. It hasn't run since last spring. I went out yesterday, pulled
the drain screw out of the carb bowl, poured fresh gas in the nearly empty
tank and let it drain through and out the carb drain. I put the screw back
in,
pulled the spark plug, looked at it and put it back in. Set the chock and
throttle
and pulled it one time. It fired like a cannon and ran like a clock. I
think this is
the 4th season I've had it, maybe just the 3rd.

I would look at Surplus center to see if a replacement pump could be
found so yo don't have to be concerned about parts for the hydrostat.
If it's a Vickers pump you may be out of luck. I have a JD swather that
is in trouble. Small Engine Warehouse may have the engine you need. I
wold really look at Harbor freight for their Predator 2cyl engines.
