[AT] Question about an H spotted on Craigslist

Not that I'm looking for another tractor (well, I'm always *looking*, but
certainly not going to get anything) but I saw this non-runner and wondered
what the brackets on the sides were for.  This has got to be the best place
to ask that sort of question.  Here's a link to the ad:

I've always liked the classic look of the H, but if I ever get one, I'd
probably want one with a 3 point (for the reasons that I "need" a tractor.)
I'd want it to be able to "back up" my main machine.

 

Hope everyone had a good weekend.  Things have been cooling down around
here, a mostly welcome change.  Also, I sold an old non-running car for $200
today, making my wife happy and adding a little more to the "box blade and
other implements" fund.
