[AT] OT — Old generator blowing smoke

Scot,
What's the matter with the radiator?
If its got a leak, try Dike. My JD unstyled a had a leak in which
water would leak from the hose (and one portion of the radiator itself
after it sat for a while in the shed.
I tried replaceing the hose, and it still leaked. I put some dike in
it, (I drained the radiator first then filled with new coolant) and
started it up. Open the throttle up so the engine gets warm, open your
radiator and pour the dike in it. Then let it run for 20 minutes or
so.
It should seal it. My JD a just leaks a little here and there. I
haven't had to fill it up in 9 months. And I think it might've leaked
maybe a half a pint durring that time. That's it. Also, make sure that
you know how much water your radiator holds so you know how much dike
you need. It doesn't stick to the radiator. If you drain the radiator,
it drains the seal as well.
 Good luck,
 Tyler Juranek
