As far as I know the rims were silver originally. Pretty certain the
tractor was only repainted once although the rims may have got it a few
other times. Lord only knows how much liquid nitrogen this tractor has
sprayed, I can't believe they haven't rusted away. Regarding the
repaint, I imagine it was mid 60's when it was painted by dad using an
el-cheapo paint gun and IH paint. Don't know if it matters for
durability but there is probably lots of lead in the paint!
