Hi John, Al might get a bit more wind than us but it's too soon to tell.
We've already got 3 to 4 feet of tide rise in the rivers and they are
predicting
another 5 to 8 maybe. It just depends on where the thing turns and how much
water it's pushing ahead of it. Wind is not a big concern but it's so wet
here already
and with 8 to 12 inches of rain predicted in addition to already soaked
ground, it won't take
much wind for trees and poles to start falling.

>From what I'm watching on TV right now, Jacksonville Fl. is getting flooded
pretty good.
My niece lives there in a condo that is on a slab without so much as a step
to get inside.
However her yard is about 42' above sea level so maybe they are alright.
Her husbands parents
and grandmother both have houses on jacksonville beach and they are holed up
with Amy and John.
I fear they will loose their houses. My other niece lives in Beaufort, SC
and that whole town is
predicted to go underwater according to the National Hurricane centers maps.
My sister is just north
west of Charleston but they should be ok on a high lot. It would take 25'
of tide rise to get in my house so
as long as a tree doesn't fall through the roof I'm not worried.

If I remember my topography right I think Al should be ok, I'm not sure
about his dad's place?

Charlie

Looks like its way south, can't think of anyone off the top of my head
other than Herb that is going to be really close. Charlie and Al should
get a pretty good amount of rain, don't think we are going to get a
whole lot considering how far inland we are. I finished picking corn
today so the rain won't be too bad on us. I had to play in the mud as it
was to get finished. It may be April before I can get in the filed to
fix the ruts.
