Doug, the 5w-30 is for the Generac. That, and the Deutz are really the
only two that would ever be used in Winter.

The engine manual for the Generac says, in bold, DO NOT USE SAE 10W-40 in
the Winter, 5w-30 is the only oil to use in colder temps. During the
summer, they suggest SAE 30. An acceptable substitue is 10w-30.

The manual for the Magnum 16 in the Deutz wants SAE 30 in the summer. It
also says that using 10w-30 in the summer will increase oil consumption and
leave 'chamber deposits'. Below 32 degrees they suggest 5w-30.
